I'm on a bus headed back to Osaka to get a little sleep before my early morning flight home. I'm so sad to leave this country, but it'll be nice to eat a proper meal (I'm so hungry!!!!). First stop when I'm home is my favorite Italian restaurant for a gluten-free eggplant parm hoagie.
I can't thank enough the dozens of Japanese people who've helped me get navigate the train system. I wish I would have learned more Japanese before the trip, but I am so grateful to the people here who know English and are kind and patient with tourists like me. It makes me want to be even more helpful to tourists back home.
I am in love with this country, and I can't believe I spent so many years wanting to come here and am now about to leave. I'll sign of for tonight with some gorgeous cherry blossom and bamboo shots.
